Overview

 

mmVu® Server is a real-time GNSS deformation monitoring software  that boasts of the GNT's unique, proprietary dual-processing engines. It is the most advanced and sophisticated software that can process baseline data from dual-frequency GNSS receivers in real-time to deliver up to sub-millimetre level accuracy even at a high data rate. It has been especially designed to overcome serious GNSS challenges imposed  on various project sites.

 

The mmVu® Server software is highly scalable and easily configurable. In addition, GNT’s dual-processing engines can be easily tuned-up so that the mmVu® Server can be applied to most GNSS monitoring projects regardless of the time period, distance and scale of the project.
 


Applied Technologies

The mmVu® Server connects dual-frequency GNSS stations and processing engines through the Ethernet TCP/IP and UDP communications. A unique data streaming wrapper application, which feeds many instances of core processing functions and multicasts raw data to each dual-frequency GNSS baseline processor, handles the increased complexity of GNSS monitoring applications with up to hundreds of baselines and provides scalable monitoring solutions from small to large projects.
 


Main Features

The mmVu® Server uses redundant processing modules to ensure the integrity of its results. Customized processing modules are available for unique applications. It features:

  • Provides TDD and DDC solutions by adjustable and selectable filters

  • Detects sudden displacements as well as long-term trends

  • Delivers sub-millimetre level accuracy

  • Designed to overcome GNSS challenges (e.g., significant multipath and atmospheric disturbance)

  • Handles long baselines up to 100 km

  • Flexible system deployment regardless of the time period, distance or project scale
