Project:

Short-Term Displacement Detection Using Translation Stage

Location:

Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada (2012)

Purpose:

Assessment of the displacement detection capabilities of the GNT’s mmVu™ deformation monitoring software

Configuration:

1 reference GNSS station, 1 monitored GNSS station

Communications:

Local WiFi and global Internet network

Details:

Data from 2 GNSS receivers were collected for 48 hours prior to the introduction of a vertical displacement. On August 31, 2012 at 12:55 UTC a sudden vertical displacement of 25 mm was introduced at the translation stage testbed. The displacement was successfully detected by multiple filters inside of the GNT’s mmVu® deformation monitoring software.
