Project:

INS-aided GNSS RTK  System for Automatic Ground Vehicle

Location:

Kwang-Yang, South Korea (2006)

Purpose:

Auto-steering of automatic ground vehicles (AGV) with cm level accuracy

Configuration:

1 reference GNSS station, 2 GNSS Rovers

Communications:

Local WiFi network

Details:

Integration of GNSS RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) and INS (Inertial Navigation System) improves the reliability of the navigation system of AGVs. Low-cost MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical System) IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) has been used for loosely (or tightly) coupling with the GNT’s GNSS RTK solutions.
